- Smugglers Notch and Bolton in Vermont. Smugglers is real popular with
- families, and bill themselves as Americas Family Area or something like
- that. Niether has quite the same skiing as Stowe, but they are probably
- cheaper (although the condos at Smuggs aren't real cheap) and certainly
- friendlier (Stowe was never synonymous with helpful or polite).
