  24. Smugglers Notch and Bolton in Vermont. Smugglers is real popular with
  25. families, and bill themselves as Americas Family Area or something like
  26. that. Niether has quite the same skiing as Stowe, but they are probably
  27. cheaper (although the condos at Smuggs aren't real cheap) and certainly
  28. friendlier (Stowe was never synonymous with helpful or polite).
