- I also tore my ACL and MCL 7 yrs ago, on the first time I ever went skiing.
- What a friggin' lousy way to begin. Anyway, 3 days later had my knee scoped
- and put in a cast from hip to toe, and bent 10% at the knee for 9 weeks.
- I went on a self-guided physical therapy deal which mostly consisted of
- hitting the weight machines, esp. the ones for the legs. I jogged a little
- and swam a little, etc. But I have quit basketball, too paranoid, the last
- 4 yrs. Since the accident, I have skied a lot, black & dbl black included,
- I run 45 miles a week, do marathons, etc. Knee is doing fine now.
- I am 34 yrs old now and not looking back. GOOD LUCK TOM!!!
