- What does glacier skiing mean? (other than the obvious)
-
-
- I'm still trying to decide where to go in May on my honeymoon.
- I got many great responses from my previous posting. Several
- people mentioned Blackcomb/Whistler. So I decided to call
- the Whistler Resort Association. The person on the phone was
- not a skiing expert. But, she said that there may only be
- glacier skiing. She said that they are open until May 24th
- so she knows that there is still skiing. So what should
- this mean to me? Are the main slopes closed? How many
- slopes are open when there is "glacier skiing"? Are the slopes
- on the glacier(s) good? Is there any noticeable difference?
- (Pardon my snow-ignorance --- I'm a water-skier by heart!)
-
- Thanks in advance AGAIN!
