- If you are racing I would suggest a helmet, but for recreational skiing lets not be ridiculous.
- Do you wear a helmet when driving to the store in your car, hell no. But would you wear
- a helmet if you are racing a car on a track, hell yes. If people feel comfortable skiing with
- a helmet go ahead and wear a helmet, but what about a lacerated juggler vein, or a cut
- leg, or a cut arm etc....., Hey, how about wearing a suit of armour, yeh that's it a suit
- of armour. I think if you look at the statistics you'll find the odds of getting hit by a
- bus is better than getting a head injury from skiing. `
-
- Watch out for those busses.
