- The landscape is not very interesting (IMHO). But you have the chance to take
- the TGV Atlantique, the fastest train of the world (300 km/h). It takes 3 h
- from Paris to Bordeaux, and a few more to Biarritz. I think that there is a
- direct TGV from Paris to Biarritz. The high speed line is from Paris to Tours.
- South of Bordeaux, you can see an interesting overhead wire system that
- was installed for high speed tests (331 km/h) in 1952.
