  13. Wow, are you ever asking for trouble!  Wooden rails
  14. have been tried (yes, even for monorails), but the
  15. warpage and resultant maintenance expenses seem to
  16. have doomed these projects.  Two examples:  Cienega
  17. Lime and Marble Co., San Benito County, California
  18. (ca 1890) and the Epsom Salts Monorail, Trona, 
  19. California (ca 1920s).  Both suffered badly from
  20. track maintenance problems.  Good luck.
