  14. In my new job, I recently relocated to North Eastern Texas.
  15. There is a little town about 15 miles north of here called
  16. Ladonia.  I've driven up there once, and was VERY suprised
  17. to find rolling stock on a siding there.  This is in 
  18. contrast to most lines here which have a distict rusty look
  19. to the rails (not much activity in general around here, it
  20. seems).  Someone mentioned to me that they thought that
  21. there might be periodic steam excursions along a line from
  22. Lanodia up into Oklahoma, but there was no one in Ladonia
  23. to ask when I was there.

  25. As all my books are still packed, I wonder if someone
  26. could take a look in the steam guide and let me know if they
  27. can find anything concerning this area? It's about 50 miles
  28. N.E. of Dallas and is in Hunt County, Tx.

  30. Several nice Victorian homes in Ladonia, too.  One of them
  31. apparantly was restored by one of the Neiman Marcus clan.

  33. I posted a similar note out on this about a week ago, but
  34. never saw it turn up, so I may have not been authorized
  35. at that point to get mail off campus.
