- I can't offer the detail that Len provided, but for contrast consider
- that in 1937 the PRR operated 645 scheduled trains during a typical
- 24 hour period in and out of Pennsylvania Station in New York City.

- This provide a reasonable comparison as New York is more or less in
- the middle of "The Corridor", and the arriving/departing trains ran
- pretty much over what is the corridor today. In fact most of the
- trains Len listed were among this 645.
