- Hi
-
- (I am new to this group, sorry if this is a faq)
-
- I have decided to join the 20th Century, that is, upgrade from a
- Nikon F that sits in my closet. The camera that seems to work best
- for my budget and needs is the Minolta 5xi.
-
- A few questions. Do 5xi owners regret not having bought a 7xi?
-
- I am going to run with one telephoto lens (70-210) as my only lens
- (I don't want to carry a bunch of lens). The Tamron for the Minolta
- is a whole lot cheaper than the Minolta lens. But then Minolta has
- their zoom xi lenses, with a few features not available through the
- vanilla af lens. Do folks with the zoom xi use the special features
- of the zoom xi, and am I making a mistake going with the Tamron.
-
- Thanks in advance
-
- Neal
