  34. I would like to participate in this photo-swap, seems like a great
  35. idea.  However, I was somewhat disappointed by the choice of
  36. theme.  As another poster from down-under (either Australia or
  37. New Zealand) mentioned, it is not winter everywhere.  Actually,
  38. here in Austin, Texas, it is practically *never* winter in the
  39. sense of "winter scenes".  I'm wondering, and I imagine that other
  40. people in the warmer (or reversed) climites are wondering, if
  41. the photos are really supposed to be taken in the 1.5 month
  42. period between when the theme is announced and the photos are due
  43. in or whether those of us who are climatically disadvantaged
  44. could submit photos from previous years?  Although this is not
  45. the best situation it would at least allow everyone (or most
  46. everyone) to participate.
