- Yes, a step-up ring. What you are doing is geting the cheapest 105mm thread
- with a nice flat around it. This flat is used to mount the filter, either
- one off with blue-tack, tape, etc, or as a base to fit clips etc to too make
- a 'real' filter holder.

- A 4x4 ( 100x100 ) filter is 140mm across the diagonal, and by aligning the
- diag with the max frame dimention you can minimise vigneting. Not perfect,
- but if its only the odd use, how much do you want to pay? ( and do you want a
- real good bridge :-) )
