- If you're talking about slides of approximately 1 1/4 inch high and 4 inches
- long, they aren't dead yet. I made one last night from all currently
- available supplies. The Chicago Stereo Camera Club (among others) has
- competitions in this format. The black and gold borders do not sound
- familiar, but there have been a number of suppliers of stereo masks.

- If you post the outside dimensions of the slide, and of the windows in the
- mount (where the actual film chips are), we can get a little closer.

- By the way, there are even commercial labs that still process and mount
- Realist format stereo slides, although they usually use cardboard mounts
- instead of glass.
