  24. I traded up my 7000i for a 7xi and am quite happy with it. Perhaps the
  25. single greatest improvement that is noticed immediately is the
  26. brightness of the view-finder. I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere
  27. else but it was the first thing I noticed. I wear glasses and even
  28. with my eye held away from the glass, I can easily read the
  29. view-finder panel information and judge contrast.

  31. One of the major reasons I bought the camera was the hope that its
  32. ergonomics would be better than the 7000i. I really hated using my
  33. left hand to manipulate the Func and Mode buttons on the left side of
  34. the top. This concern has been answered successfully but I wish that
  35. the display panel contained as much information as the viewfinder. The
  36. grip-start and eye-start is pretty fancy but I'd rather have it off
  37. most of the time.

  39. I've only used it for a few rolls of film so far and haven't seen the
  40. results yet. Tonight, my brother is delivering a 3500xi flash and
  41. hand-strap to go with it. I'm looking forward to trying this stuff out
  42. in Rome and Alaska later this spring.
