- Yes it is common practice, unfortunately. (10 mm deviation for a
- tele lens zoom). Aktuellt Fotografi (Sweden) measured: 29-102 mm on
- that lens you asked about (the 28-105 f/3.5-4.5)
- Pretty normal deviation for Canon and such a lens.
