- of money if you buy the manual focus version for Nikon. It doesn't
- make much sense to me to get an autofocus wide angle lens. The lens
- is rarely out of focus, and the depth of field scale is usually much
- more useful anyway.

- On the 8008 at least, you need an AF lens to get matrix balanced
- fill flash. This is useful even with a wideangle.
