- The F3 AF cannot autofocus any current generation Nikon AF lens. There are
- only 2 AF lenses that the F3 AF can autofocus. The F3 AF used focusing motors
- in the lenses. Up until the introduction of AF-I lenses a few months ago, all
- other AF lenses used a focusing motor in the body. The F3 AF does not have the
- focusing motor in the body, so it can't focus most AF lenses. I highly doubt
- that the F3 AF can autofocus the new AF-I lenses either.

- By the way, the only other body that can drive the F3 AF lenses is the F4.
