- I never had a problem getting the pink antibiotic down Vincent -- just
- prop open the mouth and squirt it down the throat with the dropper. It
- was a different story when I tried to give him the Pepto Bismol the vet
- prescribed. Even using a syringe I'd only get half of it down him and
- the rest would end up as pink frothy drool all over the place. The
- last time I tried, I wore a ski glove to keep from getting bitten and
- he broke a tooth on the glove trying to keep from swallowing. Luckily
- it was just a baby tooth, but I couldn't bear to torture him further
- and switched to Kaopectate mixed with lamb baby food, which he would
- beg to get.
