  12. Well, I tend to agree with everyone who's been posting so far -- on both
  13. sides of the issue.  I certainly sympathize with David.  David's Dilemma
  14. is a tough one.

  16. Myself, I would reconsider or at least postpone the wedding.  On the other
  17. hand, a broken heart is a broken heart, and it sounds like he's doomed to
  18. one either way, either from the loss of the fiance or from the loss of the
  19. beloved cats.  I hope he finds a loving home for them.

  21. David, if you're out there, I'd like to let you know that I have a
  22. girlfriend who once upon a time got married to a man who despised cats.  He
  23. wasn't allergic, he just didn't like their "lack of tidiness."  She had two
  24. wonderful cats that she loved very much, and she gave them to her parents
  25. and can visit them.  I thought she was crazy to give them up for an
  26. intolerant man, but she loved him, and she married him and it is important
  27. to note *their marriage seems to be working out just fine* and the cats are
  28. doing very well with her parents.  So it may work out all right for you ...
