  28.   My cat has owned me for almost 15 years now...since I was 7 years old.
  29.   When I started dating my now fiance, Kitty didn't care too much until
  30.   Greg (my fiance) started spending a fair bit of time at my place.  She
  31.   has never taken to Greg, and we've been together for almost 6 years.
  32.   Whenever Greg and I stay over at my parents place (Kitty's current
  33.   home), she will deliberately climb in bed between us and purr like
  34.   a madwoman until Greg gets up so she can have me to herself.  Of course,
  35.   when she does this at 3am, she gets a close-up view of the exit to our
  36.   room :-), but if it's in the morning, Greg will get up, Kitty ceases
  37.   purring and then koncks out on my chest.

  39.   Whenever I go to visit my parents now, she immediately sits on me
  40.   as soon as my butt hits a chair, but she has decided that Greg is
  41.   okay to sleep on if I'm not around.

  43.   The bottom line is, just give Woody time to adjust.  It may take
  44.   one heck of a long time....Kitty still hasn't decided whether or not
  45.   she likes Greg -- especially since her first bath (yes, at 14 &1/2 years
  46.   old she had her first bath for a flea problem) was given to her
  47.   by that 'mean' Greg person.  :-)  She is slowly adjusting....
  48.   I'm sure Woody will too, after a while.  Just have faith, and make
  49.   time for Woody...give him some extra love....and most of all, just
  50.   be patient.
