  18. Yup.  When my marriage broke up, we had 8 cats.  Steve took Carrie,
  19. who wanted to be an only cat and was not fond of the rest of the crew,
  20. and I kept the rest.  Carrie was also less nervous around Steve than
  21. me (though I had bottle raised her) because I had nursed her
  22. through some very tough illnesses.  I think that to Carrie, 
  23. "Kay=Vet".

  25. I kept everyone else because I was staying on in the country, and
  26. Steve moved to the city.

  28. Oh yes, "cat support" was written into the separation agreement--
  29. he'd brought at least half the cats home...
