- I use a homebrew wooden ramp (5' x 12", 2" thick) to load my Sportster into the
- back of my full-size GMC pickup. The ramp board is smooth, but I've never had
- a problem with traction. I guess the Sporty just has so much low end torque
- that all I have to do is ease out on the clutch and just give it enough gas
- so the engine doesn't stall and it goes up the ramp effortlessly.
