- OK, because I'm a jerk, and I don't treat my bike right, I've only just
- gotten to the point in my winterizing process (I did most of the stuff a
- while ago) where I'm trying to drain the carb bowls.

- The service manual never mentions such a procedure, not even as part of
- removing and disassembling the carbs. My particular bike ('82 Yamaha
- Vision 550) does seem to have overflow/vent tubes on or near the carbs.
- Does this mean my carb bowls don't need to be drained, or does it mean that
- generally it's so simple, they just assume you can do it?
