- choices, choices, choices.
-
- what i'm looking for:
- - mid-sized four (?) 550-750 (i'm not a big person)
- - reliable for commuting and sport-touring
-
- bikes that have caught my eye:
- - '84 Nighthawk S 700 - $1700 (for sale at a dealer)
- - '84(i think) V30 Magna - $2000 (also at a dealer)
- - '83 Nighthawk 650 - $900 (for sale by owner)
-
- all of the bikes are in compirable condition, low rust, milage 10K + or - 2K.
-
- questions: (proportional to cost)
- - is the magna that much nicer (consider + or smoothness and - maintenance)?
- - is the sportier riding position of the Nighthawk S any less comfortable on
- long rides?
- - are there other nice bikes that fall into the same category as
- these bikes that i should be looking out for?
- - is there life after the DoD?
-
- any input would be appreciated,
- steve
