- I am not sure about the part of breaking in the pipe. I have
- installed many pipes on many different bikes, (mostly racing
- applications), when I lived Palm Beach Florida near Moroso
- Speed Way. Yes it is true that you may have to jet the bike
- to compensate for a larger volume of air. Jetting can be a pain
- in the ass, but when done correctly can give you a pretty good
- edge over other bikes in your class. You would notice the
- difference mostly in the mid-range of your power ban. If you
- are not ready for several hours of pulling the carbs on and
- off, you may want to take it to a shop and have it done. Also,
- you may want to look into individual filters for each carb.
- Using individual filters does make it a little harder to
- jet, but makes it a lot easier to take the carbs on and off.
