- But there were some much more recent incidents (late 80's). Basically
- they involved heat related damage. Making people stand at attention
- for hours in the sun on the tarmac, I think. Several passesd out from
- heat stroke/dehydration.

- Another case I recall was similar. The instructor made some students
- do pushups on the tarmac and got third degree burns on their hands. I
- believe this one led to some serious chanes of teaching policy.
