- Hi folks,
-
- During the last few tournaments I've been to and reffed, I've
- noticed a couple of controversial points. How would people
- rule the following?
-
- 1. Inside crescent kick (push, not strike) to back of thigh to
- jam opponent's back spin kick. Is this an illegal strike to
- the leg (remember, it's a push) or is it a legal block?
-
- 2. Push kick to opponent's butt to stop his back side kick (aka.
- spinning side kick, dui yup chagi, etc.). Is this an illegal
- strike to the back or a legal jamming action?
-
- 3. Using the leg to block kicks (either with a shin smash as an
- inward block or with the outer thigh as an outward block).
- Is this an illegal strike to the leg, or is is a legal block?
-
- What do you think?
