  14. Hello,
  15.
  16.      I am working together with some peers to program a computer fantasy
  17. game.  We are trying to design an interface for the game that most people
  18. will like.  I would like to know from you people what sort of interface do
  19. like using the most?  Is it keyboard only, joystick or mouse only, or a
  20. combination of them?
  21.
  22.      For your information the game is being programmed for IBMs and their
  23. compatibles.  Also, the game is in a 3-D texture mapped graphics format.
  24. Therefore, a character can see objects around them.  It is my opinion that
  25. the "Sierra-style" interface from their earlier games is the best.  I think
  26. that the game can be more versatile by making the person choose the words
  27. and then type their commands.  Do you agree?  Do you know of another method
  28. that works just as well or better?
  29.
  30.      Please post any responses, and if you can, please e-mail a copy of
  31. your response to me also.
  32.
  33.                                                         Thanks in Advance,
  34.                                                         Chris Hall
