- I'm not sure what you mean. If kasparov, or Karpov, or Fischer, etc., were
- to hop in a time machine and go back to whenever, they would surely mop the
- floor with anyone they encountered. Not only are they just as good personally,
- but they have decades of chess learning their opponents would be ignorant of.
- More realistically, if you could haul one of the great champs of the past up
- to today, and let them absorb modern chess theory, I think many of the past
- great champions couls easily risk being champion again. Why not?
