- declarer has at least nine trick is he has the spade ace (5 diamonds,
- 1 club, 2 heart, and a spade---declarer must have the H8 since
- East did not play it at trick one). Hence at this point the only
- way to beat the contract is for East to have the spade ace. I would in fact
- play the king of spades at this point.
