- I got in a similar situation last weekend:
- 1NT by me, 2S by LHO alerted, X by pard alerted
- The double is negative if spades are real, but spade
- cards if not. I did not know their meaning of 2S.
- I asked the director afterwards and he suggested
- something like:
- alert, this may be an alert
- and explain the possibilities.
