- IMNSHO, East shoulders most of the blame for 3D.

- As a confirmed offshape doubler I always have values when I make a free bid
- in competition just so that partner can convert in comfort-- and I use
- Rubensohl to give myself more room.

- wrong) what is East trying to accomplish here with 3D?

- Can East see partner (with the probably strong hand) passing when 3D makes
- (and, therefore, heart contracts DO NOT make)? Can East see partner
- selling out to the appropriate level? Can East see hirself sit for a double?
