  16. I am indeed a handicapper of both thoroughbreds AND standardbreds, with a  
  17. preference for the latter.  As for Beyer, I appreciate what he does but I  
  18. will never completely embrace speed ratings, especially since I love turf  
  19. races.  Anyway, I'm just letting you know you aren't alone
