- Yes, we have a short announcement time after the break. The caller gets
- everyone into position for the next dance, gets up like he is ready to
- teach, and sneaks them in. Announcements are short, and usually made by
- the caller, though anyone who has a detailed announcement can come up and
- he will give them the mike. Some folks listen, some don't, but it's usually
- better than while trying to teach a dance (low roar). I think they are
- necessary, and especially like the one about subscribing to the newsletter,
- since I do ours. :)
