- Greetings,
-
- I have a 4 year old Trakehner mare who has had an
- ailment for the past three weeks that has not seemed
- to have improved. The description of the problem is as
- follows:
- Three weeks ago I noticed that She had a small
- knot on the left leg on the chin area that
- resembled a clot of sorts....She is not lame on this
- leg and it doesn't not seem to cause her pain. My
- Vet said it does not seem to be the tendon and he has
- tried a couple of cremes to reduce the swelling and
- cure it. The clot is the size of a walnut at this time
- and as a result I have had to keep here in the stable
- and take her for short walks on hard surfaces.
-
- If you have had any experience with this type of ailment
- or know of any natural cremes or remedies for curing this
- I would greatly appreciate it.
-
