- NJ | I need a dressage saddle. I've been making do with my old (20+
- NJ | year-old) Siegfried, but I really want something a bit more suitable.
- NJ | I'm sort of hard to fit because my legs are *really* short, and most
- NJ | of the flaps are just too long and too wide. I also prefer a seat
- NJ | with a nice narrow twist. Can anyone recommend a saddle to fit me?
- NJ |
- NJ | Oh, yea - my horse is a thoroughbred, but he has a warmbloody set of
- NJ | withers and back. Most saddles that seem to fit me tip back on him a
- NJ | little. *sigh*

- Two identical models imported by Courbette, the Charles deKunffy in
- Sella leather, Trenck D_II in bridle leather, have about the smallest
- flaps around. The tree comes in several widths, so one should fit your
- horse. Although, if you're used to a Stubben, you may never be
- satisfied with a Courbette's comfort. I have a both Courbette and
- Stubben dressage saddles; I find the latter much more comfortable. If
- fact, my Courbette Trenck D_II is for sale, but it has an 18" seat.
