- My favorite pair of riding pants are "Patagonia". They were a Christmas gift
- from one of my riding buddies, a year ago. They're extremely comfortable,
- and so far have stood up very well. They have an ultra-suede knee patch,
- and wash up great in a washing machine. I hang them to dry.
- They kind of remind me of leggings, as they have a wide waist band--no
- zipper opening, and comfortable wide elastic at the ankle which keeps them
- from riding up my leg.
-
- I'm almost 5'9'', and find the legs to be nice and long. The only problem
- I have is that they're not snug enough at my waist. But I use an elasticized
- belt to solve that problem.
-
- They were really nice & cool in the summer, and long underware easily fits
- under them for the winter. They're definitely the most comfortable,
- nonbinding riding pants I've worn.
-
- My friend bought them at the Patagonia store, which is a sports outfitters,
- in Mass. I think they have a mail order catalog. You may not find them at
- a tack store; I never have. I'm not sure how much they cost.
