- ... until last year when we had our first rabies cases, Connecticut &
- the New England area were relatively isolated from the rabies problem
- because in order to get here, you have to cross water (i.e. The Hudson
- River, et.al.) which always slows these things down. Hence, the theory
- that the rabid racoons must have been imported (I don't think most
- racoons have the $0.75 needed to cross the Newburgh bridge ;^)
