- It is not seldom that the occasion arises where I have a bike, I'm with a
- friend, and we need to get somewhere. And there's only one bike: mine. Now,
- I was wondering if it would be possible to mount a collapsable secondary
- seat support mechanism on my bike. I have a Univega Range Rover 10 mountain
- bike currently with a Vetta Gel saddle.
-
- I want the mechanism that holds the second seat (which would be located behind
- the current saddle) to be either collapsable or removalbe simply because riding
- around with another seat behind you with nobody on it would look rather daft.
-
- And, finally, if there is no such product on the market, would I be able
- to construct one? Of course, I would figure out the problem of where the
- guest rider would put their feet and everything after I found that this is
- at all possible. Any ideas, recommendations, or recipies are welcome.
- Thanks!
-
- (Just kidding about the recipies. I don't cook much, I just eat.)
