- The manufacturers use different spline patterns for their cogs, so
- you can't interchange them. Also, Shimano and SunTour each have
- more than one spline pattern. You can't put Hyperglide cogs on a
- non-hyperglide hub, or MicroDrive cogs on a standard SunTour hub.
- Think of the freehub body like a freewheel -- different freewheel
- bodies also take different cog types, even if the end results are
- compatible.
