- Hi, I have a couple of mountain bikes, and the one I ride to school
- every day always seems to have bent axles, in the wheels and the BB...
-
- Of course, the bent BB accelerates the self destruction of the bearings
- ( my bike makes all kinds of popping grinding sounds when I pedal -
- luckily I can't hear it in the snow )
-
- Can anyone suggest what it is that I am doing to keep bending my axles?
- I've replaced them all a number of times, I'm even using a solid rear
- axle, but that is bent now too.
