- I spoke to Klaus Eweleit of Sachs Germany yesterday. Mr. Eweleit is
- a living wonder: One of the marketing people who know what they are
- talking about.
- He is responsible for the support of racing teams here.
-
- Mr. Eweleit said they changed back the Sachs 8-speed freewheels (and the
- right shifter) from 4,8 to 5mm evenly spacing to give the racers using
- Sachs 8speed derailleurs the chance of using spare wheels with Campy or
- Shimano freehubs if need be.
-
- If there is any problem, it will occur with STI or Ergopower levers,
- because there is not a lot of overshift built in.
