- Although I do not any suspension on my MTB, I was recently looking
- through some back issues of Velo-News and Lennard Zinn did a review
- of about 10 different suspension forks as well as the Allsop suspension
- stem. If I remember correctly, he liked the suspension stem quite a
- bit. It is lighter than a fork, it has more travel than a fork, and
- it did not alter the frame geometry much, if at all. The only problem
- is that it is rather expensive, about $220, I think.
-
- There is also a lower-priced stem that uses urethane bumpers. I haven't
- seen a review of it. I think it is about $90.
