- Re: 1 person tent
-
- I second the Eureka "Gossamer". Got caught in a rough rain/snow/wind
- storm last Su....er..Fall and was quite comfy and dry. Even after arriving
- at camp in the dark and rain and fairly wet.
-
- I hadn't expected the tent to be so dry under the circumstances. The
- only thing I lacked was earplugs to make the sleet flailing on the
- rainfly 3" above my nose more subdued :-) (The earplugs were outside
- the tent in my pack safely under the raincover.)
-
- Only real drawback is that getting clothes changed and pads & bag arranged
- inside the tent while self is also inside is quite the contortion act.
- But it's aerobic and keeps you warm........
-
- Be sure to carry enough stakes for the rainfly pullouts!
