  13. I had my CV joints repaired and have had some noise on a right turn ever
  14. since.  I thought it was because my '85 Jetta has 176,000 Miles and the
  15. struts/shocks are badly worn and the car takes a dive on turns.

  17. I checked it out and there is a collar on the right axle shaft that
  18. the dealer said was a balanceer (?). I dont understand it though cause the
  19. right axle is the longer and thus heaver axle than the left.

  21. Any way I used a hose clamp to keep it positioned up out of the way so
  22. it dosent hit the lower A-arm(?). It stopped for a while but now it is
  23. doing it again. I probably have to move it again.

  25. Does anyone have any insight as to where the thing is to go, how to keep
  26. it in place, etc? And what is the purpose of it?
