- It was the VW version of the Audi Fox. The main difference was the
- dasher came in two styles - fastback and wagon, whereas the Audi
- was a sedan and wagon.

- Early ones had carbureated engines. THe carbs were trash....but
- can be replaced with one of those progressive webber 2 barrel
- kits. The FI motors are ok. Basically the engine is Rabbit, but
- the transaxle and engine are mounted longitudinally.
