- I have a question about the EGR filter in my vanagon.
-
- If I bypass it, does engine performance suffer? Does it REALLY
- reduce emissions? The vanagon is originally from California, but its
- now in Washington State - Im not sure how the emissions laws are different -
- I still havent taken it for a smog test.
-
- Also, while Im at it, what 3rd part heaters (propane) do people like to install
- in vanagons - my engine heater just doesn't do it (has something to do with my
- lack of a thermosata cable to my cooling flaps...) and can anyone recommend a
- good mechanic in the Seattle, WA area?
-
- Thanks
