  15. I read in the FAQ that 85 GTI's performance can be boosted by cutting
  16. wire #11? on the ECU.  Can somebody verify this? 
  17. I looked it up in Bentley and it is a wire going from the ECU to the
  18. altitude meter (Not used) nowhere else.
