- Kind of on the same subject; I need to replace my clutch in my 82 A4000
- diesel, and my Bentley manual seems to imply that replacement can be done
- without removing the engine, only the transmission. _But_, about 80K ago
- when I had the current clutch put in, I was told the process involved
- removing the engine...

- Anyone done this operation and know the exact procedure?? Did my mechanic
- take me for a couple extra hours of work that really wasn't done (i.e. engine
- removal)??
