- I'm having a problem identifying the Eel that I have. It's about 18", [FW]
- dark brownish-olive (light underneath) in color, has no pectoral or fins
- underneath, and no gill covers. The book describes this type of Eel as a
- female Moray. I thought it was a Common or Florida Eel. All of the Anguilla
- (sp?) (European and American) types of common Eels have pectoral fins, fins
- underneath and gill covers. I'm not sure what it is. Could this be a female
- Moray? They say the females spend a lot of time in FW.
