- I am curious. I have received some requests to post the results of my
- efforts to decypther the structure of the data and index files
- that are created and used by the various dBase software products.

- I know that the dBase software itself is copyrighted but I want to
- know if that also applies to the format and content of the data files
- (whish have my own data generated by dBase).

- I have written som of my own software that accesses dBase files for
- a volunteer project for charity and I would like to post this code.

- Do any of you know of any legal ramifications if I did this? The data
- files do not contain any copyright information.
